RMUMC Prayer Groups

The following guidelines are recommended for establishing a covenant prayer group:

1. All group members must agree that all discussions are private and are not to be shared outside the group, unless explicit permission is given.

2. All group members commit to regular attendance to the group.

3. The purpose of the group is to pray - for whatever the group feels led to pray for.

4. Our recommendation is that groups meet at least weekly. The group decides what day and time.

5. The length of the meeting is up to the group, however if you are using the free version of Zoom, the meeting length is capped at 40 minutes.

6. The goal of these groups is to help RMUMC folks stay connected during this difficult time. We would hope that after we can meet together again, your group continues to meet and pray.

7. You may use Zoom, conferencing calling, or any virtual method you choose for your group to meet and pray.

You may recruit your own group or we can provide you with names of those who have expressed an interest in being part of a group.
